Maven's Inn & Grill

The food was fresh, hot and delicious as always. The burger never disappoints! Sat at the bar. The bartender was professional. My entire family really enjoys going to Maven’s and look for are to bingo night.

We had a great stay at Mavens. The live music was amazing! We went for drinks & music both nights we stayed-the service was on point. We had a big group with us & Ryann did a great job taking care of us all night! We will definitely be back!

I can't speak about the rooms because we didn't stay there, but did enjoy the bar/grill very much! We were looking at property in the New Braunfels & Canyon Lake area, & stopped in the Maven's for lunch on the recommendation of friends who live in the area. I ordered the best spicy chicken sandwich I've had in my life, the fries were tasty & fresh, & my husband had a Philly Cheesesteak that he really enjoyed. There was just one guy working the bar, dining room, & patio but service was great and he was super friendly! And Maverick the Restaurant Patio Cat was a bonus! Everybody loved giving him pets, though he was plenty happy just napping out of the way!

The service was incredible and the atmosphere is truly perfect for our family with little ones. We could enjoy great food and have entertainment for our kids which is very hard to achieve at most establishments. This will be our go-to spot for sure!

April was extremely nice and helpful this was our first visit. Hamburgers were excellent and will definitely be back. Great menu options.Went back on Thursday for the burgers and brews special. They have a great back yard with live music on Friday and Saturday nights can’t wait to attend. We live in Canyon Lake and this will be one of our regular spots.

We aren’t staying at the Inn, but the Grill is a popular local spot. The staff is great & the people who call it their local bar are GREAT!! There was live music on Saturday night. My wife got a pineapple martini, and really enjoyed it. There’s a beer bucket deal and the food we had was delicious. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND going. It was a fun time and will definitely be back.

We had such a fun visit! April was so welcoming and sweet. We stayed one night and had dinner at the restaurant as well. The food was delicious and the whole property is so cute. We will be back!

We recently hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner at Maven’s at Canyon Lake, and I truly don’t have enough words to express how perfect the experience was from start to finish. Not only was the event itself absolutely phenomenal, but having the added convenience of our out-of-town guests staying right on-site at the charming motel made the entire weekend seamless and extra special. The food? Perfection. Every dish was beautifully prepared, delicious, and received rave reviews from our guests (many of whom are still talking about it!). I especially loved the fried chicken sliders! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, fun yet relaxed—exactly the vibe we hoped for on such an important evening. What really sets Maven’s apart, though, is the people. Kris, the owner, was so thoughtful and involved, ensuring every detail was just right. His wife Melissa brought such a personal, gracious touch. And April, the general manager, was an absolute gem—so attentive, kind, and a true pro at anticipating our needs before we even voiced them. The entire staff radiated hospitality; it genuinely felt like they were celebrating with us. We are endlessly grateful for the care, joy, and heart that the Maven’s team poured into our event. It exceeded all expectations, and we’ll forever hold this evening close to our hearts. If you’re considering hosting an event or simply looking for a wonderful getaway spot—run, don’t walk. Maven’s is a true gem.
